Why?

Because we are very weak at storing data in our brains.

A computer stores an entire dictionary in almost 10 seconds (copy/paste), but we have to spend years to only learn 5 thousand words.

Anki boosts the storage portion of our brains.
In scientific terms, Anki boosts our semantic memory.

Procedure

• Download AnkiDroid Flashcards
• Signup in ankiweb.net
• Configure Anki
  • Sync
    • Settings
    • General settings
    • AnkiWeb account
    • Login (using your ankiweb.net account)
  • Order
    • Settings
    • Reviewing
    • New card position
    • Select New cards before reviews
  • Pace
    • Long tap default deck
    • Options
    • New cards
    • Set New cards/day to 5
    • Go back
    • Reviews
    • Set Maximum reviews/day to 25
  • Card browser
    • Question
    • Answer
    • Sort by card modification, descending
  • Only use the Basic card type when adding new notes
  • Only have one default deck. DO NOT ADD ANOTHER DECK.
  • Only input data, and memorize and review from web or from your phone. Do not mix it.
  • Anything from Wikipedia should be the original casing
  • Anything other than Wikipedia should be changed to lowercase
