Path is not about past or future. It's not about time.
Path is a map. A map that shows why we are here. A map of thoughts.
Whenever we fall into doubts, we open this map. Current position gets its meaning from past positions. If we lose the path, we lose the meaning.
And if we lose the path, we lose tomorrow too. We won't be able to find why will we live it. It comes as all other days, and it passes as all other days, and we get nothing from it. It becomes one more lost day.
Some notes
- We learn the universe systematically, why not finding the truth systematically?
- I use inclusion and exclusion of information. The amount of data is too much and nobody can know or learn all of them. Just like cleaning lentils, I learn in small chunks and in each phase I decide what to accept as my personal truth and what to reject, based on what I have learned. Decision is based on "weight" or abductive reasoning.
- If there is a designer, that designer is not subjective. It's objective. Thus I don't define him. I can only find him. He and his design is under no obligation to please me and obey my will, or the will of anyone.
- A lot of steps in finding the truth are not universally provable. They can't be proved objectively, just the way materialistic science and math proves things. They are personal truths that you prove for yourself and choose for yourself.
- Example: Nobody can prove the existence or absence of the afterlife. We only choose to believe or deny it, based on our incomplete knowledge.
- Some steps of finding the truth can be proven.
- Example: a list can be made of the differences between the current Quran's text with old manuscripts.
- Date of manuscripts can be proved using radioactive dating or other scientific methods.
- In many steps, we have contrary arguments. We just choose based on what our mind and heart assumes to be the better choice.
- Examples: I might accept some reasons that this world is not designed (like long time to be designed and some design flaws), But I see a lot of other reasons that this world is designed. Thus abductive reasoning for me is that this world is designed.
- Examples: Allah is the match that I want to find. Some reasons might exist to disapprove that (like Allah talking about helping him), but a lot of other reasons exist to support that he is the one.
- We need to be frank and fair. We have questions and notes. We declare them, or write them, or think about them. Not because we want to deny or accept. Simply because we have them and we need answers.
- I am neither Shia, nor Sunni. I only intend to be submissive to Allah. And this is because I accept him as the only deity and he has ordered me to do so. I study history, but I won't label myself with any sect. I stay away from things that are not in the Quran.
- Attributes of each claimed designer/creator/deity, and the source of those claims, are the most important things for my analysis.
- I use our weaknesses, as signs.
- Language must not be a barrier for finding the truth. I chose to learn Arabic, because I chose Allah. To deny truth because of language, is not my choice.
- Yahweh => Torah => Hebrew (probably Aramaic or Greek)
- Brahma => Vedas => Sanskrit
- Ahura Mazda => Avesta => Avestan
- Buddha => Pali
- Confucionism => Old chinesse
- While I have this question that why an old language should be forced upon us (like reading Quran as is) and while I have no answer for it, I know that path of finding the truth requires to know more, including learning the language of the source scripts.
- I chose Allah, not because I was born muslim. Because I realized that his attributes are compatible with what I was searching for. I was born Shia, and I'm no longer a Shia. Other deities also have attributes. I could not accept them based on my research. Their attributes might have been tampered with, or they might be their true attributes. But at the current time with my limited knowledge, I could not choose them.
